It’s hard to believe the Christmas season is just behind the corner and that the last Dallas Christmas wedding I shot is closing on its one-year anniversary. The wedding of the gorgeous Brittney and Colin was a heartwarming holiday treat for everyone who was part of the celebrations.

For their wedding venue, the couple couldn’t have chosen a more fitting luxury setting to highlight the spirit of their winter wedding. The Adolphus, sitting in the heart of Dallas Downtown is a historic architectural icon and a city landmark. It was rich in glamorous backdrops for the wedding ceremony and reception and made for some beautiful romantic photos of the couple with many nooks of rich vintage and lavish backgrounds.

Before the ceremony, the couple and I went on a stroll down Commerce Street and took some incredible romantic photos with the Dallas city backgrounds sprinkled with Christmas trees, ornaments and lights.

As a wonderful surprise to the wedding couple, the mother of the bride had been working behind the scenes putting together a gorgeous Christmas themed reception to bring the warmth and cheer of the holiday season to the wedding. Emotions filled the air as the couple walked into a reception ballroom turned into a winter wonderland of festive décor, larger than life white floral arrangements and winter color schemes and backdrops. It was simply gorgeous.

This was one of my all-time favorite holiday themed weddings and I’m thrilled to have been part of the beautiful celebrations. My warmest congratulations to the almost-anniversary of the wonderful Brittney and Colin.
